This site-specific installation explores the silent and invisible thread of two simple spheres, each with an opening. They rotate smoothly when suspended and 'scan' while doing so. When stationary, they appear to be endlessly staring at or talking to each other.
While the metallic, reduced sheen is evident when viewed from the backlit side, the earthy, mineral appearance is revealed when viewed from the sunlit side, especially with the reddish bricks in the background.
